Participant Eligibility Requirements

Artful Impact is a creative learning program designed for individuals 18 years of age or older with a diagnosed disability who have a passion for creativity and hands-on learning. Our program provides a supportive and structured environment where participants can explore various art forms, develop vocational and social skills, and gain confidence through creativity.

To ensure the best possible experience, participants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Age & Diagnosis – Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosed disability.
Independence & Safety – While staff provides guidance and support, participants must be able to function in an individual or group setting with minimal behavioral support and demonstrate basic self-care skills.
Fine Motor Skills – Participants should have the ability to engage in fine motor activities such as painting, sculpting, assembling art projects, and using various creative tools.
Work & Task Participation – A willingness to participate in creative activities such as drawing, painting, pottery, crafting, jewelry-making, and other hands-on projects is essential. Participants, either independently or with assistance from staff as needed, should be able to follow directions, remain engaged in structured activities, and complete projects.
Social & Communication Skills – While communication abilities may vary, participants should be open to working in a collaborative environment and interacting positively with peers, staff and the community.
Commitment to Attendance – Regular participation is key to success in the program. Participants should be committed to consistent attendance and actively engaging in activities.
